Okay, my lively friends!  March Lively-ness is well underway and today I will be sharing some tips on the corners of FITNESS and HEALTHY EATING.

During the launch teleclass last week, I talked about interval training and how easy it is to get a quick and effective workout at home, with no equipment, in as little as ten minutes.  So here you are, two interval workouts that you can do today!

Ten Minutes – Routine One:

30 Seconds Squat Jumps
30 Seconds Mountain Climbers
30 Seconds Plank Hold
30 Seconds Rest

Repeat five rounds for total of 10 min. circuit

20 Minutes – Routine Two:
30 Seconds High Knees Running
30 Seconds Shadow Box
30 Seconds Speed Skaters (leap side to side)
30 Seconds Mountain Climbers
30 Seconds Jump Rope (no rope needed)
30 Seconds Burpees
Rest 60 Seconds

Repeat five rounds for total of 20 min. circuit

Next, let’s talk more about an easy way to improve your eating habits and add more greens into your diet.  So here you are, me making my morning smoothie with these simple ingredients: half of a banana, handful of spinach, frozen mango, hemp seeds, unsweetened coconut water, and unsweetened coconut milk.  Watch this quick video to see just how easy it is…

So there you are, the corners of FITNESS and HEALTHY EATING and two things that you can do today to improve your overall well-being.

And remember, voting begins next week, so stay tuned for March Lively-ness posts!

Thank you for posting the workouts! I love the idea of “shadow box”, but what exactly is that? Sorry I must’ve not been paying attention during one of our field workouts 🙂

Oh yes, the shadow box. So you stand with your feet wider than hips width distance apart with the toes turned out. Knees are soft and tailbone is slightly tucked. Punch alternating arms as you “shadow box” and keep the hips facing forward. Make sense? 🙂
